Microsoft Publisher has long been one of my favorite tools. While you can do almost anything you want in Word, I find Publisher makes it easier to manipulate text and pictures to get the desired results. As Secretary of a local organization, I have used Publisher to create and print a monthly news letter, the by-laws in booklet form, flyers to advertise fund raisers, tickets to the fund raisers, personalized birthday cards, certificates to be given to members, gift certificates, and business cards.
